The CStay kitchen
CStay has a communal, or shared, kitchen for the use of its guests. It is serviced regularly to ensure high standards of cleanliness. However, guests are expected to clean up after themselves and to wash and dry all the items they may have used. It’s only good manners.
While the facility is not locked at any time, it is an expectation guests adhere to the “No noise after 10:30 pm” policy when using the kitchen.…read more…
The kitchen is fitted with a ceramic cook-top, microwave oven and electric frying pan. A number of saucepans (all stainless steel as well) are available.
A large kettle is provided for preparing an invigorating cup of coffee or tea to enjoy on the verandah, lounge or your room.
For those who prefer loose leaf tea, a teapot is available, as well as a plunger style coffee jug.
For lovers of espresso style coffee an espresso machine and milk frother is provided; Nespresso coffee pods may be purchased from reception – a number of varieties are available.
An ample supply of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils are available with which to prepare your meals in comfort. A large commercial fridge provides storage space for items that cannot be stored in the bar fridges in guest rooms.
A supply of cold water is maintained in the large water dispenser in the kitchen, always ready for guests who need a cold beverage.
Once you have prepared your meal, we ask that guests clean wash and dry all items that they may have used to prepare their meal as others may wish to prepare their meal next.
